8/4/2004 -- Those of you with print design peers might want to pass on the word that QuarkXPress recently launched a certification program.

To become a QuarkXPress Certified Expert, candidates will be required to pass one online exam, administered by Against the Clock, a Quark training provider.

The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and costs $169. Optional training is available.

Quark's nemesis, Adobe InDesign, also offers a certification program through the Adobe Certified Expert program.
