4/28/2004 -- The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) recently announced that it will be offering free certification testing at its first annual Club LUG conference, to be held in New Orleans May 31 through June 2.

According to the Club LUG site, all those who register for the $275 ($225 early registration) conference will receive four $100 vouchers to take the LPI exams at the conference, allowing candidates to earn both LPI's LPIC Level I and Level II certifications for free. Each LPI Level requires two exams.
