Four New Oracle Exams To Go Live in October
10/6/2000 -- Oracle is expected to release four new exams this month.
The first, Oracle Internet Database Operator (DBO) exam (#1Z0-411), will go live sometime in October. This new exam is the sole requirement to achieve Oracle's recently introduced Internet DBO certification.
According to the company, those who took the beta version of this exam can expect to receive their scores by Nov. 17.
Two DBA exams should follow soon after: Oracle 8, New Features for Administrators (#1Z0-010), and Oracle 8i, New Features for Administrators (#1Z0-020).
And look for Oracle's Developer Database Applications with Java (Jdeveloper Rel. 3) exam (#1Z0-512) to arrive before Oct. 31.
According to the company's Web site, more exams are on the horizon: On Sept. 15, Oracle ended the beta period for three Oracle Internet Application Developer 6/6i track exams. Expect this track's new Upgrade exam for those Rel.1 certified, as well as the Build Applications I and II exams, before the end of 2000.
