12/13/2000 -- ProsoftTraining.com announced today that it's offering a fast-track option to Intel-certified IT professionals interested in becoming a Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW).

Through Prosoft's i-Accelerate program, candidates previously certified as an Intel Certified Integration Specialist (ICIS) in Networking or Server Integration can bypass two exams on their way to achieving Prosoft's Master CIW Administrator designation. As previously announced by Prosoft, many Microsoft and Novell certifications also qualify for the i-Accelerate option.

``By recognizing the proven knowledge and expertise of individuals already holding Intel certification, we are offering a fast track for CIW certification, increasing the power of both certifications to reach more people in less time,'' Jerry Baird, Prosoft CEO, said in a printed statement.

According to Prosoft, other new joint specialized programs offered by Prosoft and Intel include mutual certification credit awarded for current CIW- or Intel-certified individuals to reach either Master CIW Designer or Intel ICIS e-Business certification in less time after fulfilling required specifications.
