3/27/2002 -- Now through April 24, Brocade is offering a free beta of its updated Brocade Certified SAN Designer (BCSD) exam.

According to the company, the beta will consist of 183 questions, and will last around four hours. Brocade said the exam covers the same topics as the current BCSD Exam, but is updated to include questions regarding 2 Gbit/sec SilkWorm products and Fabric OS v3.0. Those who pass the beta will become BCSD certified.

The beta is available at Vue testing centers under the exam number 143-020. Candidates must use the promotion code "BCSDBeta" to register.
