Objectives Guides for MCAD, MCSD .NET Exams Released
3/6/2002 -- Last week Microsoft posted exam objective guides for its revamped MCSD for Microsoft .NET and newly created Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) exams:
- 70-305, Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual Basic .NET and Visual Studio .NET: http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/exams/70-305.asp. This exam will be beta tested in May.
- 70-306, Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Visual Basic .NET and Visual Studio .NET: http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/exams/70-306.asp. This exam will be beta tested March 29 to April 5.
- 70-315, Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with VisualC#.Net and Visual Studio .NET: http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/exams/70-315.asp. This exam will be beta tested in May.
- 70-316, Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Visual C# .NET and Visual Studio .NET: http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/exams/70-316.asp. This exam will be beta tested April 2 to April 9.
Microsoft has yet to post guides for three other exams required for completing the developer tracks:
- 70-310, Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Visual Basic .NET and the .NET Framework
- 70-320, Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Visual C# and the .NET Framework
- 70-300, Analyzing Requirements and Defining .NET Solution Architectures
