2/28/2002 --
Microsoft announced recently via its Web site that it will be offering free "MCSA Career Seminars" (Course #9500) for IT professionals interested in learning more about the company's new Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) title.
The one-hour sessions, to be held at participating training centers throughout the U.S., will review the requirements for the title, among other topics.

Novell is also on the free seminar bandwagon, offering no-cost, full-day NetWare 6 sessions. Called "NetDare," these sessions will focus on NetWare 6 technologies and will also serve as a preview for the company's upcoming "Upgrading to NetWare 6" exam and courseware.
To promote NetDare, the company is also hosting a "NetWare Dare" competition, in which contestants will compete online to become one of two finalists flown to Brainshare Barcelona for a "head-to-head NetWare 6 competition," the company said.
