11/28/2001 -- CCIE hopefuls can now sign up for a discounted version of Cisco's WAN-Switching CCIE qualification exam.

Cisco is offering a beta version of the exam for $50 through December 11 at Prometric testing centers. According to Cisco, those who pass will receive full credit toward the written exam requirement for the CCIE Communications and Services lab exam.
