9/12/2001 -- Nortel announced last week that its new Voice Fundamentals exam (920-902) will launch in October.

The four-hour, Web-based exam on voice technology exam will be "one of the requirements necessary to earn the Design Specialist, Field Specialist and Support Specialist certifications for the Enterprise Solutions and Intelligent Internet categories beginning in 2002," Nortel's Web site states.
