CompTIA Transfers CTTs to CTT+ This Month

9/12/2001 -- On Sept. 5, Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) sent letters to all Chauncey Group-certified Certified Technical Trainers (CTTs) informing them of their transfer into CompTIA's CTT+ program.

Those who receive the letter will be transferred automatically; no re-application is required. CTTs who don't receive the letter by mid-September should contact CompTIA to update their mailing address. Candidates can e-mail CompTIA at .

CompTIA acquired the CTT title from Chauncey earlier this year and renamed it CTT+. CompTIA offered to automatically grandfather all CTT holders into the CTT+ program.

Now that the title is administered by CompTIA, the certification is good for life -- no renewal required, even if the candidate was originally certified by Chauncey.
