8/21/2001 -- Cisco recently announced via its Web site a beta version of its upcoming CCIE DSL Qualification exam.

The exam is one of eight qualification exams for candidates who want to pursue the CCIE Communications and Services lab exam.

The beta period opened Aug. 17, and will run though Sept. 5. The exam costs $50 U.S., and is available through Vue and Prometric testing centers worldwide.
