3/15/2006 -- Cisco Systems recently announced a small change in the way Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) lab candidates will be allowed to access documentation materials during their lab exam.

Previously, candidates were allowed to search Cisco's documentation Web site for relevant material. Now, due to "a change in the way product documentation is maintained," candidates will need to navigate the information using drop-down menus, the company said.

The company is advising CCIE Lab candidates to spend time becoming familiar with the index's menu before sitting their lab exam.

In other recent CCIE news, Cisco announced earlier this month that its Voice lab is now available in Australia, with online scheduling now available for dates beginning in mid-April.
