Microsoft Rolls Out New Exams
Plus, Oracle adjusts beta end dates for some exams, and Certiport offers Adobe Creative Suite 6 certification.

8/8/2012 -- This summer, Microsoft released a number of new certification exams -- most focused either on the cloud or the newest version of SQL Server. Most went live in June. In numeric order by exam number, the new entries are:

All Oracle exams are available through VUE testing centers and run between three and three-and-a-half hours long. More information, including the objectives for each exam, can be found here.
Certiport Offering Adobe Creative Suite 6 Certification
Certiport is now offering exams on Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6) leading to certification as an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA). Domain areas tested upon include:
- Visual communication using Adobe Photoshop
- Rich media communication using Adobe Flash Professional
- Web communication using Adobe Dreamweaver
- Video communication using Adobe Premier Pro
Exams remain available on the CS4 and CS5 platforms, as well, for those who want to certify with the older products.
