Not too suprising, I have 9 of them: 4 to become a MOUS Master in Office97 and 5 to become a MOUS Master in Office 2000. Why not dig a little deeper? How many different individuals have at least one certification? How many MOUS Masters are there? Which certification has the most/least holders? Which certification has the highest failure rate (i.e. the hardest exam to pass)? -FR |

Yes, more statistical info as in the first comment. Also how many Master Instructors and how is MOUS doing in different countries. Master in Access would be fine to see. Also test for VBA programming. |

I'm interested in the same. There's no accurate data about the MOUS program. I used to be able to get some info occasionally from the folks who manned the old MOUS helpdesk before the latest re-organization and new Master Instructor cert was unloaded on us. I've got 9 individual certs also; two more if you count the two MOUS Master certs; two more again if you count the two MOUS Master Instructor certs. Does that mean I have 13/500,000 of the total certs they've awarded's a shame there's no site to go to like the Microsoft Certified Professional site that keeps track of how many people have what. |

I am asking the same question. Why aren't any of the jobs advertised by companies (for example: an advertisement for an administrative assistant) asking for any of these certifications? There is no way of telling if the applicant really is competent in any of the programs. The tests that they give you are not very thorough. I think that we need more exposure. |

From how the article reads it states 500,000 certification not individuals. So I have 10 of the cerfications. Lets have a better breakdown of how many are certified on each application and what level. In addition to how many are Master certified. |

I recently achieved MOUS Master Instructor status in Office XP. I was already a Master Instructor in Office 2000 and 97. I asked the MOUS Master Program Manager for stats as to how many people were Master Instructor certified in all three Office versions. I was told these stats could not be released since doing so would violate "confidentiality." |
