VSLive! 2009 Event in San Francisco Features Top Industry Experts and Special Pricing Offers

CHATSWORTH, CA. Jan. 26, 2009 -- This year, VSLive! continues its rich history of presenting outstanding independent content experts discussing the very latest software technologies and products. VSLive! has now announced its lineup of world-renowned keynote speakers -- industry experts who are widely respected for their knowledge and background.

Starting with Day One, attendees of the San Francisco VSLive! conference in February will hear an outstanding opening keynote from Microsoft's Jason Zander, general manager of the Visual Studio Team. Zander will be followed by a wide array of top software development experts from both inside and outside Microsoft, including a Day Two keynote by InterKnowlogy CEO Tim Huckaby that will demonstrate Microsoft Surface implementations.

VSLive!, the industry's premier independent software developer conference, takes place at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco, Feb. 23-27. This year's conference offers attendees more than 80 sessions over five days, including optional workshops, for a week of both broad and deep training in some of the most innovative developer products and technologies in the world. Registration includes attendance to the one-day MSDN Developer Conference on Monday, Feb. 23, which will showcase technical overviews of the Azure Services Platform, Silverlight, Live Mesh and more.

For a limited time, VSLive! is offering two new special pricing offers: a buy one, get one free registration special that includes a second registration of equal or lesser value for free; and a new one-day pass for those not able to stay for the entire event.

Along with top-of-the-line speakers, VSLive! will include plenty of engaging evening activities and other opportunities to meet and interact with the speakers. Events include the always-popular Birds-of-a-Feather networking lunch, numerous author book signings, and VSLive! After Dark, featuring fun and lively discussions among attendees, speakers and industry leaders—including plenty of contests, prizes and surprise demos. VSLive! After Dark will include widely known Redmond magazine columnist and renowned Microsoft expert Mary Jo Foley discussing her latest book, “Microsoft 2.0: How Microsoft Plans to Stay Relevant in the Post-Gates Era."

Day One will end with a bang at the Welcome Reception, featuring complimentary food and beverages and an introduction to the three-day Exhibitor Expo.

A big draw for VSLive! Plus Package holders will be the two full-day, in-depth workshops and the VIP Lounge & Game Center, where passport holders can get away from it all to enjoy coffee, complimentary soft drinks and snacks, plus laptop drops, Xbox gaming consoles and big-screen movies.
