I just passed my first exam (70-316) today, I took the exam at the "Prometric center".
Q1.If i want to continue to take other exams, Can I register my next exam with "Pearson VUE"?
Q2. If I registered the exam with a yahoo email address, do I need to creat a hotmail address when becoming a MCP member?
Q3. Should I wait for the welcome-kit or should i signup the MCP program first?
thank you very much

a1 - you can register with anybody you'd like, you just have to create your profile with them.

bestard,
If you first did your MCP exam with Prometric and "PASS", then you should register your second exam with Prometric. I would not advise you to switch mid-way toward your ultimate cert (MCxx).
This question was answered when I tried to register with Prometric when I used to register with VUE. The exam center indicated that VUE has all my MCP records, and Promentric doesn't. So say, if I did 70-210, 215, 218 with VUE and suddenly register with Prometric to do 216 to get my MCSA on Win2K - then if I did pass all exams, I would not get MCSA from MS. This is because they (Prometric and VUE) don't have or share the same records!!
But to make sure, you can always ask MS.

Wrong wrong wrong, I don't know where you heard that wives tell that you won't get your MCSA from MS. Bull Hockey.
That's true they don't share records, but MS does know all the exams you passed except for any CompTIA exams you've taken until you authorize CompTIA to pass to MS your test results of CompTIA exams.
I don't have a bit of problem accessing my records with either VUE or Prometric of exams I schedule with THEM and no problems with Microsoft accessing my records of all MS related exams and certifications (including the CompTIA certifications I authorized CompTIA in passing to MS).
I've taken exams with either center for years without any problems whatsoever regarding records.

Prometric and Vue do not issue you your MCSA/MCSE certification... Microsoft does. Prometric and Vue are simply exam providers - they are the link between the testing center and the certification vendor.... that's all they do. They take your money, they schedule the exam, they receive the scores from the test center, and they report the scores to the vendor (in this case, Microsoft). Therefore, you can use either or both vendors and still get your certification from Microsoft. I've used both Prometric and Vue interchangeably without any problems receiving my certifications.
