  • IBM Retiring Lotus Release 5 Exams

5/19/2004 -- According to IBM, a majority of its Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5 certification exams will be retired Nov. 30.

A total of nine exams will be retired. According to the Lotus certification Web site, the only ones to be spared are those that count toward the 6 and 6.5 tracks: Exam 273, LotusScript in Notes for Advanced Developers; Exam 513, Using JavaScript in Domino R5 Applications; and Exam 516, Using Java in Domino R5 Applications.

-- advertisement (story continued below) --

The retirement will not affect those already certified in the Release 5 tracks as IBM Lotus certifications do not expire.

More information on this announcement can be found here. -Becky Nagel
