Oracle To Drop Financial App. Certification


12/21/2000 -- Oracle announced this month that it will retire its Financial Applications Consultant certification in July 2001.

The two current tracks -- Order Fulfillment, Rel. 11 and Procurement, Rel. 11 -- will continue to be available through June 30, 2001. After that date, the exams will no longer be offered; however, all Oracle Certified Professionals (OCPs) who achieve these designations will continue to be recognized by Oracle and receive all OCP benefits, including use of the OCP logo.
