Nortel Announces Field Specialist Betas

2/7/2002 --

Nortel Networks announced last week that it is offering several free Field Specialist beta exams this month.

The first 50 candidates to register for the following exams:

  • Symposium Portfolio Field Specialist (#921-106)
  • MPS 100 Field Specialist (#921-107)
  • Business Communications Manager (BCM) 2.5 Field Specialist (#921-117)
  • Meridian 1 IP / CSE 1000 Field Specialist (#921-104)

can take them for free. These exams count towards the company's Certified Field Specialist Enterprise Solutions track. Those who pass the betas will receive full credit toward the title. Interested candidates can send e-mail to the company to receive a voucher for the exams, which are being offered at Prometric testing centers.

The live versions of the exams are expected to debut in March.
