Juniper Updating Written Exam

1/23/2002 -- Juniper Networks announced recently that it will soon unveil a new version of its Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) exam.

The new exam, #JNO-302, will replace the older version on March 4. No details were given on how the new version differs from the original, which debuted along with the certification last Feb.

Juniper offers two levels of certification: JNCIS a standard multiple choice exam, and JNCIE, which consists of a two-day, hands-on lab. The written exam is available at Prometric testing centers worldwide. The lab exam can only be taken at "select Juniper Networks locations."

According to the company, since the program's debut, 215 people have become JNCIS certified, and 35 have achieved the JNCIE title.
