Compaq Announces 8 Free Betas, 2002 CCRs
1/23/2002 -- Compaq recently updated its Web site to reveal several free beta exam opportunities.
The following eight exams are available now through the date indicated:

The betas are available at Prometric testing centers worldwide. Each will last around four hours. Those who pass will receive credit toward the related certification, the company said. Those who don't pass will receive a voucher to take the live version for free when it is released.

I signed up for 011-436, the VMS Network Administration exam. I am not all that familiar with VMS systems, but it's hard to beat a free cert test. Anybody else trying for any of these exams? I have an old book on DECnet, but it just seems to be the same stuff you see on the CCNA . . . OSI model and all that. |
