Cisco To Update CCIE Voice Labs

4/11/2006 -- Cisco Systems announced today that candidates of its Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Voice certification should be familiar with updated equipment to be installed in lab locations beginning July 17.

The three CCIE Voice labs in the United States and Belgium will add the Cisco Unity Express Network Module (NM-CUE) to its exam racks as well as upgrade the IOS to version 12.4(3a). It will also be upgrading software to the following versions:

  • Cisco Call Manager 4.1(3) with latest SR
  • Cisco Unity 4.0(5)
  • Cisco Unity Express 2.1(2)
  • Cisco Customer Response Server/IP Contact Center Express 4.0(1)

Although the equipment will be installed over several weeks, the company recommended that exam candidates be familiar with the new equipment for their tests.
