1/5/2005 -- Citrix has announced two free beta exams for its Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) title.

The betas are:

• Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0: Management and Maintenance for the Enterprise (#1Y1-251)
• Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0: Troubleshooting Enterprise Environments (#1Y1-252)

The exams will not replace any current CCEA exams, the company said, but will serve as part of a new CCEA MetaFrame Access Suite 3.0 track to be announced later this month.

Both betas are now live and available at Prometric testing centers worldwide. Each has a time limit of three-and-a-half hours and consists of more than 100 questions.

The Troubleshooting beta is scheduled to close Jan. 21. The Management beta is scheduled to close Jan. 30. Those who pass either beta will be given credit toward certification.
