9/13/2011 -- CompTIA has partnered with the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) to create the Storage+ certification. The exam (SG1-001) is free while in beta through mid-October at VUE testing centers only until 400 qualified candidates have taken it. To be able to take the exam free of charge, you must enter the discount code "storsnia" when the payment page appears.

Certification Book of the Week: 'RHCSA/RHCE Red Hat Study Guide'
Michael Jang's RHCSA/RHCE Red Hat Linux Certification Study Guide, 6th Edition (ISBN: 978-0071765657) addresses an audience planning for both the RHCSA (EX200) and RHCE (EX300) exams. Since the RHCSA exam is a stepping stone toward RHCE, this is possible without needing to detract from the content by signifying what topic falls where.
While its primary purpose is to serve as a study guide, the book doubles equally well as a reference (just skip past the 300 practice questions). The andragogy of the concepts is masterfully presented, with concepts building upon each other, but still allowing the reader to skip about if they know a particular area well or wish to come back and visit it later. All in all, it is a great book and one that anyone working with RHEL 6 will want to have.
