		Getting Rid of Shortcut Arrows in Vista
		How can I get rid of the arrow on the shortcuts that are created in Windows Vista?

		10/17/2007 -- Getting rid of the arrows on shortcuts is fairly simple by modifying the registry. You can do this by using the following procedure: Start the registry editor (regedit.exe) Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile Delete the entry in the right-hand pane called IsShortcut Close the registry editor and restart your computer for the change to take effect. After the reboot, you'll notice that the shortcuts that were on your desktop no longer have arrows; any new shortcuts that you create won't have arrows, either. If you want to perform this procedure on more than one computer, you can write a .REG file.
